Often when people think about knitting, they imagine a lady knitting a sock on tiny double pointed needles. Of course, it's just a stereotype, and we can knit so many different projects. But socks do take a very special place in knitting - from what we know so far, the first thing people EVER knit was a sock.

Even though knitting a sock could seem to be a complicated project, in reality, sock knitting is quite simple. Once you understand how it works, you'll be able to "whip up" different socks in any size using whatever yarn you have on hand.

There are many ways to make socks - some of them are more challenging than the others.

In this course, I'll show you the easiest way I know.

Maryna Shevchenko

Hello! I'm Maryna, a knitting instructor, designer and a lifelong knitter. After trying a dozen of different knitting techniques, testing hundreds of knitting tips and making all sorts of knit items, I realized that the best and most efficient solutions that do bring great results are the simplest ones. That's when I started my quest to show the best ways to knit in the simplest step-by-step form to make that information easy to understand.
